Welcome to my Dog Blog

Let me start by welcoming you to my dog blog. I am excited to share my experiences with you. I hope I can provide you and your parents with some information about how a small dog can enjoy life to the fullest. Here it goes...

If you are a small dog like me (under five pounds), you know how hard it is to find appropriate accessories (such as toys, clothing, collars, etc). I love to be social and go places with my parents but they have to carry me everywhere in their arms. Mom & I have been searching for a suitable dog carrier/purse. The big box pet stores don't have any snazzy carriers; we were reluctant to buy anything over the internet because we wanted to make sure I fit in the carrier properly before making a purchase.

Our search for small pet accessories led us to Puppy Love Pet Boutique where we found a great carrier. The carrier has a head hole for me to peek out from, a mesh side panel for extra air intake to keep me cool, a plush lining, a harness clip to keep me secure inside, and an interior pocket for my leash, mom's cell phone, etc. Dad can even take me out in the bag because it is inconspicuous and looks more like a bag than a purse (I really wanted the pink one, but I did agree that I should consider dad's needs too). It is just the right size for me and I can peek out of the bag when I am sitting down. If you are a bigger dog than me, you could probably lie down and still be able to peek out of the bag (I'm a little too small to do this). The only thing we wish the bag had was a pocket on the exterior; every time mom's cell phone rings she has to reach into the bag and disturb me.

Overall, this bag has led to a whole new freedom for me. I got to go to the "Taste of the Danforth" festival and to the Beach (I normally still call it the "Beaches") this weekend. Make sure to check out the picture of me in the carrier and consider one for your pooch. Chihuahua's love outings!

Wow, I really like your Web

Wow, I really like your Web Site, but I don't understand....how do you manage to type on your own? I have tried reaching the keyboard, but I can't. My mom has to hold me here so that I can type.

Anyways, I think that all your pictures are really cute, and I really like your collar with the bell. I am going to ask Santa for one I have been fairly good this year...100% on the pee pee pad.

You look like you haven't had any surgeries to alter your look. You look so natural and lovely. Myself, I have had my ears cropped (a cruel thing to have done), half of my teeth removed, my tail cut off, my voice box zapped, and finally, my "girlie guts" were removed. Even with all those parts gone, I still weigh 6.5 pounds.

I must go now, but I do look forward to keeping in touch.

Your new friend Jeanie:) xo

Thanks for writing Jeanie!
I myself am missing many teeth, (Chihuahuas have teeth trouble) so that is why my tongue often sticks out. Mine just fell out on their own.

Email me a picture of yourself.
